Vikram Iyengar is a dancer-choreographer, arts writer, and curator-presenter based in Calcutta, and working internationally. He heads the performance company Ranan and the Pickle Factory Dance Foundation. His scope of work spans practice, discourse, critique and management, and revolves around the central tenet of creating deep connections with and through the arts. An ARThink South Asia Arts Management Fellow, Global Fellow of the International Society for the Performing Arts, and alumnus of the Australian International Arts Leaders programme, Vikram was awarded the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar from the Sangeet Natak Akademi, Government of India for his work in contemporary dance in 2015.
Dana works with theatre in schools. She teaches drama and music at Mahadevi Birla World Academy. Actor, singer, physical performer, production person, she has worked with several theatre companies. She was in the first batch of Strategic Management in the Art of Theatre programme (SMART) by the India Theatre Forum and IFA. In ASSITEJ International Theatre for Children and Young People programme for artists she is a Next Generation alumna. She is the production manager for most Pickle Factory events, and has watched the Pickle Factory idea grow since it was a glint in Vikram’s eye.
Ruchira Das is an arts leader with over 20 years of experience of working with arts organisations across cities in India. She is an ARThink South Asia Fellow 2015-16 & a Global Fellow at ISPA 2016 & 2018. She is the Founder & Director of ThinkArts, which collaborates with partners across the world to offer imaginative arts experiences
to children and young people. She works as a consultant in the field of arts and education and has led several workshops for children, teachers & sessions on Strategic Planning for arts professionals. She is also the Deputy Director of ARThinkSouth Asia.
Anubha Fatehpuria is an actor and architect. Recipient of Sangeet Natak Akademi’s Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puruskar 2013-14, The Telegraph SHE Awards 2019 and Shyamal Sen Smriti Puraskar 2007, she has worked with stage and screen directors from India and abroad. Trained under late Shyamanand Jalan, she continues to learn the craft with Vinay Sharma. An actor with Padatik Theatre Calcutta since 2002, she is currently Director-Programmes.
Anubha received the Nagpur University Gold Medal for B. Architecture (2001), and interned with Ar. Balkrishna Doshi. Her work is recognised for green practices, and she has a special interest in designing performance spaces.
Kunal Chakraborty is a freelance photographer and film-maker & activist with an avid interest in various other art forms. Based out of Calcutta he prefers calling himself a mixed bag. Before venturing out to follow his passion he worked for 4 years in the core engineering sector. Currently he is also working as the Project Manager of Pickle Factory Dance Foundation.
Kritika Dey is the PR and Communications Manager at Pickle Factory and joins us with over 8 years’ experience in the digital marketing field. Prior to this she was Digital and Partnerships Lead at the South Asian International Film Festival, New York. She is also keenly interested in the arts.
Jayati Chaudhuri balances two aspects of her career: One arises from her passion towards the arts, particularly dance and theatre, and the second from her skill in sales and finance in the corporate world. She has been working for a number of years in the field of arts administration as well as corporate management.
